Whitehorse to Gakona Alaska

We travelled the worst roads of the trip today, stopped at the Gakona RV Park for the night. Nice there. We we're able to sit by the river but could only see the riverbed. The camp owner said the river moved over!!  Saw some amazing glaciers close to Haines Junction. More beautiful scenery.   The lake is Kluane Lake, YT.

    Wow...such pretty lakes. I have heard of Kluane National Park and would love to go there. I hear the scenery is stunning.
    You look pretty content, admiring the views!
    The air looks so clear there, such a contrast to what we are experiencing. It was 32 today and the smoke is really not very nice. It is supposed to stick around for a few more days. Hopefully it will rain tomorrow and make it clearer.
    Thanks for all your pictures...they are really nice to see...
