Whitehorse

At the end of day 3 we are camped at Whitehorse.   The scenery today has been pretty cool. I forgot to put up a pic of Muncho Lake in northern BC earlier, so here it is now!!  Also, here's a pic of some of the construction we've gone through. 

Watson Lake

We are in the Yukon. Guess what we saw in the very north of BC!!!

Day 3 - amazing Rocky Mountains

We stayed in a camping area north of Fort Nelson last night. This pic is the river right beside my camper.   Today we are heading for the Yukon. We have spent the morning going through the Rocky Mountains, see the picture of Stone Mountains. We saw a sign that said to watch for sheep on the highway!!  Didn't see any tho. 

Day 2 on the road

Left Alberta behind this morning and are now officially on the Alaska Highway. We went over a trellis bridge at Taylor BC. Made mom nervous!!  

First day of travel

Alaska, here we come!

Everything's packed and we're leaving our driveway now!!  It's kinda hazy right now but dad says that will clear off and it will be hot today. 

Saskatchewan Mountains

This was taken at the U of R last Thursday.  This is the type of mountain that we see in Saskatchewan!  Cloud mountains!!  Big shout out to Brenda M. For helping me with this photo! Thank you!
