Kenai a River and the ocean

This morning we went for a walk - nice change from driving. Saw the Kenai River and the ocean.

    Very pretty photos...love the ocean.
    How late is it light to during the day? I would think being so far north that the night time would be very short. Do you find that makes it hard to sleep? I would think it would be tough!
    Finally we got some rain yesterday, and that seems to have gotten rid of a lot of smoke. Hope the rain happened where the fires were too!
